Your sharing image is the image that will show up if someone shares one of your website’s pages on social media.
- So you don't have to add a sharing image for every page, you can create a default sharing image for your website by going to the home page's Settings → Social media and uploading an image at the bottom. If you do not do this, your default sharing image will be your Site settings → Logo.
- You can override this default sharing image on any individual page by performing the process in step 1 for that page instead of the home page.

- .jpg or .png format

Sharing Image Not Showing Up?
Lastly, sometimes you’ll change your social media sharing image and then test it out on Facebook but it won’t show up. This is because Facebook only "scrapes" websites every so often for new material. To force a re-scrape:
- Go here.
- Enter your website’s URL where prompted.
- Click Debug.
- Scroll down a bit and in the Time Scraped row, click the Scrape Again button. Then click it again a few times until your new image and information shows up. This will force the update.
